Our Story
Ashling Events began as a dream—a vision to bring people together in meaningful, memorable ways. Through our experience with The Smitten Project, we witnessed firsthand the power of intimate gatherings. Our founders have hosted hundreds of cozy events with thousands of tickets sold annually. These events create moments of connection that linger long after the event ends. These experiences fueled our passion to bring that same magic to others by empowering them to curate meaningful and memorable experiences.
The name “Ashling” holds deep personal significance for us. It’s inspired by the Irish word Aisling, meaning “dream” or “vision,” which reflects our belief that events can be more than just gatherings—they can be dreams realized. The word also reminds us of the ash tree, a symbol of resilience and interconnectedness. Just as the roots of an ash tree reach out and intertwine to create a strong, supportive foundation and allowing the trees in their community to share resources, we see ourselves as part of a network of event creators working together to build something lasting that will have a significant, positive outcome for our hosts and the clients that choose to work with them.
